From an early age, Lesley’s creative talent was encouraged by her father, who was also an artist.
What started out drawing horses as a child, led her to study Art and Photography at Teacher Training College as a young adult.
Although now a qualified Art Teacher, her love of nature and passion for walking prompted her to teach in outdoor education centres, but the deep love and respect for horses Lesley had as a child was still a vibrant and underlying desire.
She left teaching in 1980 to work with and own horses, fulfilling a lifetime ambition.

Lesley offers Oils, Watercolours, Sketches or Photographs; whether it is a Landscape or a beloved Pet, she will construct pictures to the specific requirements of the client.
Living in the beautiful Derbyshire Countryside, the Peak District National Park provides unlimited inspiration for stunning landscapes.
Her love of animals has enabled Lesley to capture the animal’s true character, she is skilled in producing very special portraits, thereby giving years of pleasure to their owners.
